Default should i contact DIMIA?

i am a post july 136 skilled indep applicant. i sent my meds and police checks off august 12th and still have not heard anything regarding my bond which i need to pay to get extra 5 ponits. i have noticed on www.austimeline.com that people who applied after me have had their bond requested or have had visa granted. i am getting worried. do u think i need to wait a bit longer? i am just worried that my medicals may have got lost, or would dimia have contacted me if they had not received them. am i just being silly, is it still early days?
cheers for any advice.

Hi Threlly

Yes, i would contact your CO as your deadline date for sending back your meds is well expired, i did read somewhere you had to get extra documents for your meds, so maybe this is whats holding things up, a polite email asking if they have everything from you would be the best option right now.

Hi threlly,

I agree..if u have hit your deadline then I would have thought you are entitled to ask the question. In my original Med/PCC request letter it said I should not enquire until 2 months after I sent everything back, and we did it at about the same time, so I reckon you should give it a go.

Good Luck. Let us know how u get on.

Tricky one...

I would say the agent knows best, but in all honesty I can't see what harm an "is everything received OK" email would do.

Hi Threlly,

We had to send additional medical Documentation, and phoned DIMIA to ask if they had received it, they would not tell us!! so best of luck, if u have an agent get then to contact DIMIA.

Hiya threlly,
I would tell your agent that you want them to contact your CO now. At the end of the day that is what you are paying them for. I had to ask our agent to get us an extension on our meds until we had seen two specialists regarding Andrew's diabetes. My agent said that she would e-mail them nearer the time, I objected politely to this so she e-mailed that day. Still waiting to hear but at least the ball is rolling. We may still make our deadline of 19th but with meds not booked until 11th, I think it is unlikely.

An "Is everything ok?" email would surely be a good thing.

Good luck mate.

Hi Tincx,
i think u may be right. i did have to get some additional info from my own GP, but it all went off at the same time with the medical and x-ray forms. however, this could be holding me up at their end. is this what u meant?
cheers

Hi threlly,

Hows it going? Have you sent the email? Good Luck with it, and at least it hould put your mind to rest. If its been two months since you sent the Meds then I think you are entitled to send the email.

Hi Threlly

Yes, thats exactly what i meant, it maybe they are taking longer because of the extra info you had to send and this may delay things at there end. I really would send a email to your CO - Just to put your mind at rest and that its all in the process of been looked at.

Hi SS and Tincx.
i have decided to wait until the end of november (as suggested by agent) to contact dimia. i feel though that i may get my bond requested by then anyway, so hopefully wont need to contact the case officer. keep your fingers crossed for me. i agree with tincx i think my request may be taking longer because of the extra info i had to send with my medical forms.
cheers

Hi there,

Can i ask what job title you applied under the 136?

Yours was processed very fast! Was it a pretty straight forward application for you? Its only me and my husband going so hopefully it will be processed quite quickly as we don't have any bonds or bonus points etc.

Thanks x
