short of 5 points...what are the options?
iam preparing to lodge my visa application under visa subclass 175 and since the modl list has been abolished i dont meet the 120 mark point for eligibility (5 points short)
iam able to score 115 adding up following way
age- 30
occupation (external auditor)-60
ielts -25
what are my options to score additional 5 marks?i wont be gaining any marks for specific work experience (employment of 3 years in last 4 years) as i have been employed less than 3 years but more than one year.
and since smp are not announced,i dont have that option to utilize either, though queensland and nsw smp were published my occupation was not there ,and iam doubtful how other states may include it!
i have already obtained my skiils assessment which was before 1st july(asssed according to old asco system as Accountant-External auditor) therfore itll be valid for anther one year only, i have sat for my ielts as well
therefore if i wait till i complete 3 years work experience ,id hv to redo the assesment ?
do i have a solution or is it to forget about ausi?

Where are you from? There is the option of gaining points for community language, which I can claim, as I am not British. But if you are British, or at least native speaker of English that can't count. Another option would be to claim partner points ...???

Singalese is on the list of community languages. Here is the link, you can maybe get accredited with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) at the professional level (translator/interpreter level). Here is the link:

Hi,
Your A/L studies in Sinhala language will not even be considered. Like musicalfever4 said, you need to get accredited by NAATI.
Or else
1. Try a State Sponsorship (Pass mark is 100 I think)
2. Try to claim 5 points for your spouse (if at all possible)
Good Luck
