Default Shipping Costs

Hi,

Was just wondering what sort of cost shipping is.
I understand that it all depends on volume.
Has anyone shipped over the average 2/3 bedroom flat before ?
Usual suspects - Fridge/TV/Bed/Wardrobe/Dining Room Table etc etc .
If anyone has any ballpark figures, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks
Dave

Dave,

I called pickfords for a 6 bedroom house and got a ball figure of around £4500 but depending on what size container you have.

A 20 ft container (1100 cu ft) is around £3700.00 ex ins. Our whole house, pretty much everything, is 1400 cu ft, and is £4500.00. The excess over 1100 cu ft goes as groupage.
