I have just been reading the A & NZ magazine and.....HORROR!!!!

Didn't specific work experience used to earn 20 points?

My visa application was dead on 120 and I'm sure I put 20 points re work experience

According to the magazine (and DIMIA) it is now only worth only 10!!!!

Please help

Have a look on the New Oz/NZ Magazine thread, there are a few options you have of acquiring a copy. Yes it is about general lifestyle and immi info -

You need to be careful because the information in the magazine is not always correct regarding visas... after aplying for STNI I was reading one issue about the STNI visa and it said you needed 120 points for it - which is not the case.

It got me worried for a bit and I had to post on the forum to make sure I hadn't wasted my time with the visa app

I agree there are one or two things in the list of 'to do' which isnt correct..such as put house up for sale before visa grant.
