I got my visa grant notice on 14-06-2011. Thanks every body on this forum for providing valuable information and advises.
My details are as below:
Visa type: GSM 175, CSL/MODL, Electronic Engineer
Date Applied:26-09-2009 Online
Form 80 requested: Dec, 2009
Med & PCC Req: 10th May,2011
Medical Done: 12 May,2011
PCC sent: 04 June 2011
Medical Finalized:13 June 2011
Visa Grant E-mail: 14 June,2011

I can only guess on getting visa stamped on passport in UAE based on my knowledge for Islamabad. So you simply need to drop/send the print out of the grant letter along with your original passport to the Australian High Commission in UAE by hand or through courier. They'll take some time (ranging from 2 days to more than a week) and you'll receive your passport back through courier duly stamped.
