We booked our validation trip for the 26th of Oct then we got offer on house so I'm staying in OZ with my 5 year old while OH comes back and sorts out the sale ans shipping It will be hard staying in the lovely Ozzie sun while OH is In cold old England packing

Good luck to Steve and Tina for tomorrow and the rest of your life, hope everything goes well for you. Tintsexpert have a good holiday validating your visa. We go out on 31st oct till 17th Nov to validate so busy trying to pack and make sure everything is in order.

Nothing on the house yet but my work have asked for voluntary redundancies so i've asked for that, talk about good timing they are going to pay me to leave. I'm going to stay there till end March and hopefully move to Oz in June. Might have sold the house by then but if not we will rent it out.
I hope your sale is going through ok. Best of luck.

We are back from our short validation trip, so anyone heading for perth it is warming up nicely, had a few days of 30 degrees - nice! After all the indecisions we are definately going to go for the move once the house sells, nothing is going to stop us!

Hi Vicky, we are flying to Perth on Friday for 2 weeks, so glad to hear it's warming up. Is it Perth your heading to when the house sells and which areas did you find best?

hi ian, yes we'll be heading to perth. we've stayed in fremantle each time and i love it there but probably too expensive! there's loads of areas i could settle, have friends north and south of the river and like applecross, bicton/attadale, all sor look nice, and nor i like cottesloe and subiaco but again pricey! if we end up further out due to prices i'm not sure! we didn't do that much looking around this time as we were only there for a week and 3 of those nights were spent with friends over there. how about you?

we went whale watching and it was great! if they are still migrating when you're there then i would highly recommend it!

it was 30 degrees 2 of the days and the other days around 25! we also had rain on a few evenings but it was still warm!

anyway, have a good time and don't get too tanned!
