Approx how long does it take from when you undertake medicals and send off your Police clearance certificates roughly before your visa is granted?
Our medicals were sent off on the 1st April and Police clearance certificates on the 15th April?
The sept 08 applications roll on

I applied 9 Sept 08, online application from low risk country. subclass 176 state sponsored. received case officer early Feb and immediately booked police clearances and medicals. medicals received late Feb (according to tracking number), and forwarded to a medical officer of the commonwealth around 7 Mar. no updates on my status other than medicals 'recieved' until today: "finalised", "approved", "granted".

So we have a case officer now!
Just wish my preganancy was 1 month later...so now gotta wait till the baby is born!! phewwwwwwwwwwwwww
( december..but very scared what if the rules change and we dont stay in CSL any more and have to wait for 3 years!!! So confused (

I have been watching this forum for about 6 months now and thought I would post now to give some hope as it is hell waiting not knowing what is going on.
I got my 175 paper based Visa grant today, here's my timeline:
July 08 - IELTS passed
16th September 2008 - Visa Lodgement date
18th March - CO Assigned, requesting Medicals and Police Check
9th April - Medicals Taken
13th April - Police Check sent to CO
28th April - Medical sent by Panel Doctor
8th May - Grant letter received from CO
I'm a Secondary School Teacher, under the age of 29 from the UK.
Good luck to everyone waiting.
