Sorry if I missed this but where is it you are heading to???
How long do you reckon it takes them to approve visa once meds are cleared?? Going by the timescales that others on this site have used - Scarily my meds will clear on Halloween!!!!!

We have a CASE OFFICER!!!!!
I checked our status before going to bed. No Change.
Two hours later, I woke to find an email from our case officer
requesting further information (ACS Approval letter)
He asked me to send the ACS Approval letter by return email ASAP.
I immediately went to my "Australia" folder on my computer desktop, attached the PDF file of the scanned document (I swear I had attached it 6 months ago) and emailed it to our CASE OFFICER.
Then logged in to check our status. File states
APPLICANT BEING PROCESSED FURTHER!!!!
I checked the 2nd page and only my information is marked MET
Checked email again...
CO replied that I might be receiving some good news shortly.......
Woke DH to tell him WE HAVE A CASE OFFICER!!!
Went back to bed but could NOT SLEEP!!!!
JUST CHECKED EMAIL NOW........
and
there's ANOTHER EMAIL from my CASE OFFICER!!!
In this email, he states I should check "The Browser"
Logged in to check status
APPLICANT APPROVED!!!!!
WOO HOO!!!!

I had to tell my husband that I was sorry for getting the VISA date wrong too.
I had told HIM Friday as well!!

to tell the truth we go in 7 weeks and im bored! not got much to do, so I might pack my suitcase and just sit and wait!
I have brought some xmas pressy for some friends and sorted daughters 21st party in nov, removals we just have to call and give them a date, take the car to the container and im just going to phone my pension up to see what I have to do,

This morning - it was a typical BE situation. Husband never normally looks at emails, did this am, bound upstairs, all lights on telling me. Had to run downstairs to see for myself, print off letter (evidence if they change their minds!) and then spend rest of day just .. being. Really odd - the first huge hurdle is over.

At the moment it is a sheet of paper on the table onto which everyone writes their ideas. Luckily handing over my penultimate job so things outside of home should slow down as life inside gets interesting.

There are good lists of what to do in the Australia Magazine -can't remember the exact title, but they do a countdown and you tick the boxes off as you do them. You can get it in Tescos or newsagents, it's thick and glossy and has useful articles in it.
I made lots of lists- a what I have to do today list, what I am packing in hand luggage, what goes in the cases, what goes to the charity shop, what goes to family, how much the things you take are worth for packing and insurance etc... I had about 10 different ones, and put the today list on post it notes stuck where I could see them and kept the rest in a file. I also had a separate file of vital stuff like passports, medical notes, insurance, no claims evidence, bank statements, new Oz bank details, where we were staying, flights and tickets, references, p45s etc that were vital for a smooth transition. This went in the hand luggage so it was guaranteed to get there with us.
