Sending things before you arrive/Custom issue
 

I have following problem. MY wife is Australian citizen. She will go to Australia before me. I would like to send our things after she arrives over there (let us say one week later). These thing are part of furnitures, tv, etc.Since I am planning to join her couple of months later (effectivly immigrating). I would like to know will they charge her at the custom, what is the way to avoid this, etc.
