Hi,

I'm wondering if any agents or anyone thats had processing done through the new Brisbane office handling the 501 related applications can comment on experiences with processing times at that office ?
Ive just been told that my application was passed to them.

Hi Shark,

No-one knows how long they'll take, but you can be sure it's variable, depending on the case. Historically character cases have taken long times for case officers depending on complexity, and Brisbane won't be any different (they haven't yet made a decision on any of the cases we have with them over a period of about nine months). We do a number of character cases and I'd be happy to review your case if you don't already have a competent agent in this respect.

Interesting info, although not what I wished to hear.
This one is not complex so with some luck perhaps time will be on our side.
