SA - Rules concerning the witness signature (cover sheet)
Hello lovely peeps,
Just wondering who can sign as the witness on the SA sponsorhip application 'cover sheet'. I know it can't be a family member but is it necessary to get the likes of a solicitor?

We are using an agent and they didn't mention anything about needing a solicitor as a witness. As you said, the only requirement seems to be that it can't be a relative. Good luck with your application.

Hi. I am using an Australian based agent and i have last week submitted my application to SA. I simply had a work mate sign mine which was fine.
Just got a lengthy 8 week wait now for the approval then its apply to DIAC before the changes come in to effect 1st July.
