Running Own Business in Australia

Hello, I am self employed in the UK & interested in bringing my own (small) business over to Australia.

Does anyone know if you can work for yourself with a normal working holiday visa, & what happens to the 6 month rule?

Or does anyone know what type of VISA I would need to be self employed in Australia?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to BE. This question comes up every once in a while, and generally speaking, you can do pretty much all you want if you have a permanent residency visa (whether independent or sponsored, does not matter at that point). It would be a bit harder to prove your employment history, but it has been done before. Not sure if WHV is a good solution, but that's just my opinion.
