My question now is, that if OH finds another RSMS sponsor (we currently have to live 400 km apart for work reasons) , would the two years where you are obliged to work for your sponsor start from scratch again or would the 10 months count toward the two years ?
Can't go the 136 way due to lack of points.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Cheers

Please can you advise me how long it took for you to get your RSMS Visa? Did you have any exceptions or was it straight forward... where are you in Australia?

We have just applied and are hoping to lodge at the beginning of June - just trying to find out when we can anticipate being there......

Please help ?

We are applying for the Visa 857 - can you please advise why your's took sooooo long.... I too thought it will take up to 21 weeks to have it finalised?

Did you have any side stepping issues at all? Do you know how long they are taking to process the visa's now??? Will we be looking at 9 months?

Thanks

Our RSMS took not long at all, approx. 7 weeks from the time we lodged our application (the employers application had been approved beforehand) and the visa grant. However that was about two years ago. It was pretty straight forward and we are in North Queensland.

Hope this helps, good luck with your application

Katie
