RSMS or ENS?

Does it matter
Ive been offered a nursing job in Townsville and can pick my visa. I'm going for a PR one but not sure if there is any difference between the ENS and the RSMS. Obviously i know i have to work in regional Queesnland for 2 years on the RSMS but i would be doing thatr anyway as i would have a contract for this amount of time. Other than that is there any difference?

If you have the option then go for ENS. The RSMS can be cancelled if for any reason you do not fulfil your obligation to stay in the job for 2 years. In practice, I believe it is very rare for the RSMS to be cancelled, but why risk it as even a remote possibility.

ENS is often simpler for the employer as there is no need to involve a regional certifying body. Note the skill assessment requirement, although someone with state registration doesn't need this. If you are eligible for state registration but don't have it yet, then look at the requirements in detail to see if this is a road-block.
