Default RRV for overseas child

Hi all,
I live in Australia and hold a 5 year RRV, just renewed in May 2014. I have children living in the UK who held 5 year RRVs which expired unused in February 2014. These expiry dates were the same as on my previous RRV. Given I've had my RRV extended for 5 years, can I get my children's RRVs also extended for 5 years even though they have never lived here and never used the RRV.

My children would be classified as being dependent.

Thanks
GG

As far as I am aware (confirm on the DIBP website), dependent children should normally be eligible for an RRV based on yours. However, the normal application fee will apply.
