Hi,
I had obtained PR of Australia as a skilled immigrant(Civil Engineer) in July 2009, my family joined me in December 2009. I am from India and eldest child in family. Due to illness of my mother, I had to leave Australia in April 2010 and was not able to return back. My PR expired in 2014. I want to return to Australia now, what compelling reasons should I quote to DIAC get RRV (I am 50 now).
Guys what chances would be there for me to get RRV? Should I use a Migration Agent for this or file application myself?
I would love to hear from anyone!! Thanks in advance...

You firstly need to demonstrate that you have maintained significant ties to Australia and then, once you establish that, you also need to demonstrate compelling reasons for your absence. Your chances of success will depend on these two things. An agent will help you understand your chances much better once they see all your evidence and will be able to present your case in the best possible way.
