request for IELTS
 

Hi, just want to ask when DIMA normally request you to take IELTS exam?

We've been requested to send our Medicals and Police Clearance last month (a year after we first lodge our application), does anyone know if there's still a chance that DIMA will request us to still take IELTS ?

As establishing your English language ability is a threshold requirement for skilled migration and also a factor in calculating your score in the skilled migration points test, you would normally expect that if IELTS testing were requried that it would be requested prior to health & character.

Judging by your location, it looks as if you are living in London, and in general if English is your native language, IELTS testing is considered "not necessary".
