Reporting from Sydney !
Hello All,
This time I am posting from Sydney. I got here on the 5th October to
get my PR validated. After joining the line for non-aussie passport
holders, got my passport stamped and they also scanned it for some
reason. Then I was set loose in Sydney. Been doing lots of touristic
stuff for the past few days. Took a 2 1/2 hour boat ride in the
harbor, rode the nice red bus all over the city getting off at all
sorts of cool places. Thought about doing the bridge climb but decided
it was too expensive for this trip so will do it next time. I was
staying in a motel in Edgecliff which is close to everything. Then
Friday came to Quakers Hills and spending the weekend with some old
friends from home. They took me to the Blue Mountains and the Caves
yesterday and today we are off to see some wineries. The weather has
been AWESOME ! (Tomorrow I am flying back to brave the cold Fall
weather in Chicago though.)
Anyway that is all for now. Just thought I would share my visa
validation trip to Sydney with the group. This group was a Gold Mine
!! Wouldn't have been able to do this without all your help !!!

Nice to hear about your experience! After all, we are all in a
potentially same situation.
Take care
