remaining relative residency

I have been a resident for almost 3 years now, my eldest son having been here even longer. My youngest son has now arrived here on a 3 month visa, and wishes to apply for residency under the "last remaining relative" category whilst here. I have looked at the immigration website and am totally confused. Is there anyone out there who has been there and done it. Any guidance would be much appreciated

I haven't applied for this visa, but have come acorss it on here and have just read about it. I didn't think the immigration website was confusing. To enable somebody to help you better without guessing at what you want to know, you could ask specific questions? e.g. are you confused over eligibility? the application process? something else?

One of the main things to look out for is there a parent, sibling or non-dependent child left back in the UK, normally including estranged/blended family (very common in UK).
