Registered migration agent or not?

Hi there, in the early stages of Visa application (booking English test for skilled migrant today) and have two potential migration agents lined up.

I've received conflicting information between the two of them, and one appears to be more pragmatic than the other. The big difference is that one is a MARA registered agent, whereas the other works for a business that has one appointed registered agent.

What's everyone's experience? Registered agent or not?

Thanks

Go for the MARA one.

Go with the Mara agent. The companies that have an agent are often scammers.

Advice from the mouth of a Registered Migration Agent would be preferable to that of a salesman. There are many migration companies/migration service providers around that use the registration number of a MARA agent on their website to 'legitimise' them. If the MARA agent is not available to speak with you, then he/she probably isn't around to oversee the processing of your visa application either.
