Moderators on this forum who are based in Australia and provide Australian Immigration advice have recently banned a registered migration agent from this forum for no reason other than the fact that she spoke up about unregistered practice on this forum.
It is unlawful to provide immigration advice and assistance if you are on Australian soil and are not a registered migration agent. There is a difference between advice and 'sharing personal experience'. British Expats is operating a profitable company by raising revenue and using unregistered 'agents' to act as moderators. BE CAREFUL AND BE WARNED.
Warnings of this type will continue to be posted on this forum by supporters of migration agents in Australia and non-supporters of this site. It would be a better idea if the moderators fixed the problem.

A few points to note.

There are currently no Australian-registered migration agents moderating on BE.

There is no correlation between the role of moderator and the role of a registered agent. Moderators are here to prevent abuse of the site and of it's members.

Whether BE is a profitable company raising revenue for it's owners is totally irrelevant to the moderation of the site. Moderators are unpaid and have no financial interest int he site.

If any poster is aware of someone claiming to be an agent when they are not, please advise the moderators or administrators and they will be removed from the site, as has happened in the past.

An Australian-registered migration agents was recently banned from BE. This was for persistent flouting of the site rules. The ban was carried out by the administrators of the site, and is a matter for sdiscussion only between the poseter concerned, and the administrators.

I assume you are referring to the member from Visacorp Pty Ltd who used the following names: "LIANA J ALLAN", "Delusions of Grandeur", "MODERATORS BANNED AGENT". That person was actually temporarily banned for self-serving promotion and subsequently permanently banned for multiple aliases and abuse.
Liana Allan is listed as the director of Visacorp who have offices worldwide. It's interesting that there have been several posts similar to yours from various locations around the world. I hope Visacorp Pty Ltd is not embarking on some sort of malicious campaign with the intent of harming the business activities of BritishExpats.com and its partners...
