I'm in region "who cares" because it's the most stress free region - officially slightly faster than 1-5 & anyone can join

Hello !!
I rang DIMIA this morning, and they told me that they were issuing January's applications c.o.'s . I therefore asked why I had not bee allocated as they actually have me lodged on 20.12.05.
She said there is a backlog and - I should get one within the next 7/10 days.
Have you heard anything??
My meds are on Friday.(unrequested)

I keep seeing posts saying that regions don't matter anymore. Anyone know why this is ??
If they do matter, where are all my fellow region 2's ?

Ah not US but in fact UK - we don't get all that extra info on usenet. Region 2 seems to be one of the faster regions from what I have seen...I hope so. 7 months non-MODL seems to be about right for all regions though but I've seen a few region 2 folk go through in 6 months (non_MODL).
