Record for a Visa
 
After reading many scary stories of Visa processing time would like to add some sunshine to the gloom I have applied for a 457 Business long stay and the whole application including chest xray was processed in exactly 2 weeks to the day

Not a lot to say recieved approval No. from my employer (this took about 3 weeks) on same day processed application online had chest xray within 2 days and approval came back my employer is also amazed as thought process would be 4 to 6 weeks

applied for Visa on 17th July 2007 and recieved automated repsonse on the 31st. I will be employed as an engineering manager in a sales company based In Melbourne Victoria

But i would hide if i were you, many of us are still waiting 2 months after applying, the lynch mob will be round later.

a few years ago a nurse who frontloaded her 136 application got it back in about 3 weeks :D


oh if only it was that quick now! ;)

OK so tomorrow is 4 weeks from my employer lodging theirs.

Im confident that tomorrow morning I'll wake up an there it will be. A nice new shinny visa:cool:
