I want to claim 5 points spouse bonus for my husband, I am the main applicants. My husband got positive VETASSESS assessment, his qualifications are assessed as suitable for Maketing Specialist (ACSO code: 2221-13). However, his recent work experience is Aderstising Specialist (ASCO code: 2221-17). I am confused as to how to include the ASCO code for his recent work experience in the 47sk form. I think that questions 64, 65 and 66 (Basic requirements for spouse) refer to the nominated occupation and ASCO code in the VETASSESS assessment paper and not the ASCO code of the work experience.

Could you please clarify this problem, and thank you in advance

I am not ery much sure about that. but I can suggest that you should modify your husbands current job as a marketing specialist. it would not be difficult as marketing specialist is quite similar to advertising specialist.

Now as your husbands qualification is positively assessed by VETASSESS for Maketing Specialist (ACSO code: 2221-13). So you should show his job as marketing specialist, then you will be positively get 5 points in the result.

For occupations requiring 50 points, the nominated occupation in VETASESS assessment and the nominated occupation in recent work experience can be different. The questions in form 47sk are as follows:

- 64. What is your spouse's nominated occupation

- 65. What is the ASCO code of your spouse's nominated occupation

- 66. Has your wife obtained a skill assessment from the relevant processing authority for their nominated occupation?

My question, where I can enter the info (ASCO and nominated occupation) for the recent work experience. I think that question 64 and 65 deal with info in the VETASESS assessment paper. Am I right?

My answer would be same as I have mentioned earlier. For 64 and 65 your answer would be 'Marketing Specialist' and relevant ASCO code. For 66, write 'Yes'.
