Hi Pigzmickey,
When did you lodge your application? What type of visa?

We lodged Oct 05 - still waiting to hear back on PCC.

Hi Aidan,

We lodged our SIR 495 SA app at the start of November. Who are you
waiting for, DIMA or BCAS?

Unhappy Re: 14 year old conviction, am I of undesirable character?

Hi Pigzmickey,
Our CO emailed May 25th:
'At present I making further checks on the claims made by the applicant. I will be in contact with you as soon as I am able.'

We are assuming this means that the CO sent our PCC to BCAS for investigation. Though no one has said so to our migration agent.

We were really hoping that would get our visa this summer but I am now concerned that it might much longer considering your experience.

If you don't mind, please let me know how things turn out for you...and I will keep you up-dated on our case.

A.
