hey guys, my wife got her approval for the spouse visa, and recived her
letter in the mail with forms, how long does it take for them to stamp the
passport with the visa, if u go straigt to the embassy ?

I am sure I read on the forum that you can't go to the embassy anymore, you have to post it. It normally is pretty quick. I believe people post if but also enclosing a pre paid recorded envelope for the return of the passports.

Try to do a search about this as I haven't got to this stage yet.

Visa evidencing processes vary depending on where you are. London (and it's a High Commission, not an Embassy ... ) normally doesn't evidence visas in person. But some other DIMIA offices do.

I am new to this chat page stuff, but have been reading through for info, as I am in the application process for a visa.

I saw a page on the www.australia.org.com site and it said to send your letter granting visa with your passport by special delivery to some dept at the AHC and the turnaround should be within 10 working days.

hi mark,our passports were sent " royal mail special delivery" put in a postage paid "special deliverystamped addressed envelople for return.sent friday,arrived london monday,got them back with visas in this morning.3 days
