Hi, I'm a 21 year old male I was born and live in England, my girlfriend is Australian she's here on a working holiday visa we're both living together at my parents house. We've been together for 10 months. I've decided I want to go back with her in February but I'm not sure which visa I should apply for, her parents have both said I can live at their house whilst I'm in Australia. Would the fact I already have somewhere to stay effect the amount of money I'd need to get accepted? I've read you need around $3000-$5000. Thanks :)

The Working holiday visa would be best for your circumstances. If you do approved regional work (e.g. fruit picking) for three months, you can stay for up to two years on that visa. If things are still serious with the girlfriend by that time then you will have some other options such as defacto.

The best visa option for you is the 417 Working Holiday Visa. This is a 1 year temporary visa.

In relation to the finances required DIAC advise;
Financial requirements
You must have access to sufficient funds to support yourself for the initial stage of your holiday. Generally, AUD5000 may be regarded as sufficient, but the amount may vary depending on your length of stay and the extent of your travel. You should also have a return or onward ticket or the funds for a fare to depart Australia.
You may be asked to provide evidence. Evidence may include a certified copy of a bank statement and an air ticket out of Australia.
