Default Question about RPL of Australian Computer Society

Dear All,

I applied for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) with Australian Computer Society in Sep 09 and got the positive assessment in Nov 09. They assessed me in MODL/CSL as Network Security Specialist.

I have also done IELTS Jul 09 (R:8.5, S:8,W:7,L:8) and about to lodge my application with DIAC I was just waiting for birth of my son who came into this world on 20th Nov, 09.

Now my question is only one that, as a requirement of RPL, I had included two project reports in the application form while now I am being posted to another location of my company with new boss and mates so if DIAC would verify RPL project reports extensively or they will only verify the employer reference?

If they go for verification of RPL reports, and I am posted to other location, I will not be able to brief my existing boss about how to verify the content of these reports.

Please advise if DIAC verifies only the Employer Reference or the RPL reports too.

Regards,
Fred, F.

No need to worry, diac does not verify RPL project reports, only work experience, and if you lodge now, you should satisfy past work experience in nominated occupation in any case.

When and if you are transferred, you can (or have to, if your address changes) submit a change of circumstances form to let DIAC know how to get in touch with you. Verifications range from none to a phone call to one or more in-person visits with multiple interviews, including HR, your management and/or co-workers - there is no way of telling what you will get. The only advice you can rely on is be honest with all your paperwork, then you will have nothing to worry about.
