Queing at London AHC
What is the latest time you would have to be at London AHC to be sure to be seen when having visa evidenced?
I know they are open 09:00 until 11:00.
Any help please

I can't actually advise you about having Visas evidenced, but I can advise you on the "queuing bit", having had the pleasure of delivering citizenship documents there twice recently. Both times I have arrived by 8.45am and there has been a fairly substantial queue of about 40-ish people. However they operate a fairly efficient reception system and I have been to the front of the queue by 9.20am-ish.
They then seem to operate a ticket system (where you wait to have your number called) if you need to see someone. I can't advise you on the wait thereafer, although it looked like people were getting seen on a pretty rapid turnover. I would have thought that once you have your "ticket", they wouldn't chuck you out, even if it got to 11am? (but don't quote me on that!)
Regards,
Evelyn.
P.S. Make sure you don't turn up on an Australian Public Holiday. I initially showed up on Labor Day - and they were shut!

Can't say for exact but this was my experience last week.
I went down last Friday to collect my Visa. I arrived at 8.30 and was away
by 10.00. The queue did seem to go fairly quick, I was about 30th in.

Snickers,
We went to AHC arrived 5 minutes before closing, no more than 6 people waiting inside, was in there no more than 10 minutes before having the spouse visa stamped in my wife's passport. Then went on to malaysia airlines to book the flights. Sorted, off in March.

We had the same idea, but got up late, still it all worked out ok in the end. This may of been our lucky day, I've driven by in the past and seen the que go all the way around the block. Be warned they lock the doors at 11:00 sharp.
