Hi

I have city and guilds level 2 in refrigeration and air conditiong. And f gas refrigeration handling and various other city and guilds. Can you advise me if my qualifications will be ok in oz or do I need some different ones. If so can do them distance learning before I go and what Web pages is they. Thanks

It probably makes a difference if you mean enough to work or enough to get a visa? Could you clarify?

Sorry I'm a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer and my wife is a nursery nurse and there both on the wanted list.

So you mean is it enough for the visa application process?

You need to look into the "skills assessment" process for your occupation to determine if you can pass it. According to this you need something equivalent to an AQF Certificate III at least. I have not been able to find anything that compares your C&G to the AQF, but my gut feel is that it won't be equivalent.

Unit Group 3421: Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanics

By the way, pretty sure your wife's occupation is not on the skilled occupation list.
