Applied in July 08 for 176 visa online - checked progress on DIMIA and it states 'Processing Commenced'. What does this actually mean?

Mine has also said that since the beginning.

I believe if it changes to "application being processed further" it could indicate you have a CO, or it could indicate that someone has looked at your file.

I don't think you really know until you get contacted or get your visa.

Yes "processing further" does mean someones looked at your file...

I rang DIAC early friday morning to quiry my application and mine has now changed to processing further from commenced..

who is doing the assessment for you radhika.. Is it engineers australia or ACS..I dont think you will get an answer from this thread

Yow will get TRN number. With trn number you can check on line status.dhama
