Previously perm resident
Hi,
Asking for advice before going to an agent.
my son was in Australia between 2004 and 2007. He was on a 139 subclass. He completed his apprenticeship here and worked here. He also has super still here.
He returned to the UK and die to family issues, remained there and is now a police Sargent in the force.
Will he need to apply for new visa or will his original one still be acceptable?

IT is possible he will qualify for a resident return visa, given as a police officer he would be eligible for another visa and the costs of a resident return visa are cheap, it would be worth a attempt. I would recommend speaking to an agent to prepare the submission
