Default Pre-visa grant notice And passports Issues

Hi all,

I received Pre-visa grant notice along with form 1022 from my case
officer. I was also asked to send certified copies of my passport. The
thing is I have two passports.
My old passport is already expired and it can't be renewed anymore.
But, It has all my travel information including my Australia tourist
visa. I used it 4 years ago to visit Australia.
My new passport is totally new. I have not used it yet to do traveling
and there is no travel information such as visa stamps and others. I
included my new passport number in my visa application form and this
passport will be used to travel to Australia . The followings are my
questions:

1.Do I need to include certified copies of my old passport along with
the new one?

2.I incorrectly indicated the expiry date of my spouse passport in my
visa application. Actually I overlooked it when filling out Form
47SK.Do I have to use Form 1023 (Notice of incorrect answers) to
correct this error?

3.In my visa application form, I selected "Mail Passport to DIMIA"
option for visa evidencing . But, my cast officer asked me again in
her letter about how I want to do visa evidencing. Does anyone know
which one is faster?

4.DIMIA recommended that the passport should be valid for at least 2
years. But, mine is valid for another 18 months. Will this be an
issue?

Regards,

Joe
