Arrow PR Card - Australia -

I am just curious.. as a permanent resident in Australia, people dont have a resident ID like Canada?. Is it like the UK and USA where no national id exists?

No ID card, you will have the label in your passport to prove where necessary (employers, bank etc.).

OK I'll bite, who's comparing? The OP was simply confirming that we are not like Canada who do have a national ID system and so the same as the US and UK who don't.

No we don't. It gets talked about but then it goes away again.

Canada does not have a national identity card. And dhama, if you think US is that much better than Australia why are you not applying to live there?
