Lightbulb PR for 33 YO single female from the UK

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I am a 33 year old single female from the UK looking to move to Australia permanently. I am currently here on my first WHV and absolutely love it!
Most people say marry and Australian but thats just not for me. I am educated to a science degree level but in sport. I was looking at the 189 sub class but do I have to be invited to apply for that one?

I just want to know which would be the best PR visa for me to start looking at to make sure I have the correct points and also what I have to do to apply?

Thanks

if you are looking at the 189, you are looking at the best option, as it gives you PR straight away with no restrictions on job or location.

However you need to see if you have a Skill on the current list, and then determine whether you can pass the skills assessment for that skill, which usually requires work experience.

if you pass the skills assessment then you can look at submitting an EOI, from where you get invited to applt.

It's awesome that you're considering making Australia your permanent home! For the 189 visa, you don't need an invitation to apply, but you do need to meet certain criteria and gather enough points. With your science degree and work experience, you might qualify. Start by checking out the Department of Home Affairs website for eligibility requirements, and consider consulting with a migration agent for personalized advice. Good luck with your PR journey Down Under

Sorry, but you do need an invitation to apply for 189 visas.
