Default Police Clearance Cert.

today i was looking at info. on applying pcc from indian consulate here
in san francisco. it seems like they stamp it on the passport after
30-35 days of background check. do i have to ask them specifically to
certify it in a form of letter or photocopy the certified page of the
passport, send that to DIMIA.

please advice.

Thanks,
-Stan

The Indian Consulate in Canberra stamps the PCC on the passport as well as give it in the form of a letter. You may ask the consulate at San Francisco what is their usual procedure for issuing PCC.
