Just to keep you up to date with my application...

I applied for my police checks on Feb 1st, got them back today...

Sent off form 80, 1022, and police checks immediately via dhl...case officer
has been really great and gave me an extension...

just one question, how long now will i have to wait before it is granted???

Are talking about the UK police check?

Where did you apply from?

I applied for mine from the US on February 7th and I am still waiting.

yes i am talking about uk ones, i live in london so it would come under the
met police...

Is your package on the 19:40 out of heathrow.
Ours arrived back to us today also and are on there way with dhl.

Wondered what timescale you forsee for getting your pr.

Just heard news it should be between 2 or 3 weeks not months as I first thought, nearly there!

2 or 3 weeks after meds / police checks sent back? Where did you hear that?

Its great if its true, timeline.com has many people waiting 3-4 months for their meds to be processed, and as DIMIA reckon on taking 12 months to process apps (year right), and nothing happens for the first 8 onths or so, I am expecting to have to wait 3-4 months more.


Our police checks receipt is dated 7 Feb, and we have not recieved them back yet... Meds are 'clear' according to our doc, and were sent to Adelaide last week.

If we can get our visa in next 5 - 6 weeks WoW.

Mash i like you....'moments away' sounds GOOD to me!!! thing is guys my case
officer only asked me to redo police checks since i front loaded with
medicals...
personally i think it will take about 3 weeks...not 3-4 months...
the police checks take an obscene amount of time....
it will be a year on the 26th april since i applied, so it makes sense to
assume that the 2-3 weeks guideline is a safe one!!!
if im wrong im sure someone will correct me!!!
i was thinking of delaying going until next january....but i think i'll get
me coat now!!!

I am using George Lombard as an agent and he informed me of the 2 or 3 week wait.
