Police checks expiry : Anyone had them re-done ?

We had ours done in January, but I believe they are only valid for a year ( ? ),
so I want them done again.

Does anyone know if I have to take all the i.d again or if I can just take the current police clearance letter and they'll re-do them from that ?

Ta.

You'll have to provide the ID again - its a privacy protection thing, as they have no way of knowing that you are the person in the original clearance letter. And yes, they are only valid for a year.

Bugger !

Thanks for that.
