I am in Asia and need to get my police certificate from UK by end of February latest.
Can anyone inform me how I do it when I am in Asia and how long it may take.
Any other useful info relating to this welcome or pointing in the right direction would be great

I had to get a police report from Canada while I was in Asia. First,
the High Commission will give you a written request for one. I took
that to my local police station and they did not know what to do, the
outcome was the same at the police HQ. I then went to the "central
fingerprint office" and they gave me "International fingerprint forms"
which I had to fill out at my loca police station. I sent these
directly to "civil fingerprint services in Canada". Five months later I
got my report.

For starters where did you live in the UK ??, then go on the internet and find the regional police force for the area you lived in, if you lived in London it is easy as you can download the forms off the internet, some of the more regional areas are a bit difficult to find but you will find the forms on the internet. Fill in the forms and send them off with a copy of your passport and proof of your former address, eg old utility bill cost £10.00 and takes 40 days so you better get a move on.

Getting High Commisions involved will take forever, this is probably going to be the quickest.

Remove as much meat as possible, cube, and brown in hot oil.
Add a little water, season, then add the carcass.
Simmer for half an hour keeping the stock thick.
Remove the carcass and add the vegetables slowly to the stock,
so that it remains boiling the whole time.
Cover the pot and simmer till vegetables are tender
(2 hours approximately).
Continue seasoning to taste.
Before serving, add butter and pasta,
serve piping with hot bread and butter.
