Points for Specific Work Experience
Hi there
Im applying for migration to Australia. I work in IT in London. I have my ACS asssessment completed and returned which says that Im suituable to be considered for migration.
Now under the Independent category, they say that you need to be working for at least 3 of the 4 years before you apply so i can get 10 points
Ive been working from Jan 2000 - Jan 2003 on a contract basis as follows
January 2000- March 2000 -> Firm 1
June 2000 - April 2001 -> Firm 2
June 2001 -> November 2001 Firm 3
November 2001 - February 2002 -> Firm 4
June 2002 - Present -> Firm 5
Now would this be enough to be considered for 3 years?Its not solid expereience ie theyre are gaps but I can get references for this places.
Cheers
Chris

Re: Points for Specific Work Experience
The 3 years do not have to be continuous. Other than that no-one on
this forum can really add anything to what's in the skilled migration
booklet - if the points are critical you should think about hiring an
agent.
IMO, problems with work experience are probably the most common reason
for refusal.
