Points question?
Hi
I was hoping someone could help me with my points for the 189 visa. I currently have 50 points.
Age 33 - 25 points
IELTS score 7 - 10 points
7 years work experience in the UK - 10 points
18 months work experience in OZ - 5 points
I'm a Qualified English Electrician and I've done my Vetassess Skills assessment. Do I get any points for these? or am I going to have to re-do the IELTS and get a score of 8 for the extra 10 points.

I have got City and Guilds Level 2 & 3, and an NVQ 3.

You can receive 10 points for any other qualification or award which is recognised as suitable for your nominated occupation in your skills assessment by the relevant assessing authority.
