Default Points for English

I did my degree full-time in Australia, will I be awarded 15 or 20 pts for English based on this?

Well, it depends on a lot of factors, including, but not limited to, your native language, country of citizenship, ability to demonstrate English language proficiency (sufficient proof), and finally, the consideration of your case officer. If you are unable to back it up, its better to sit for an IELTS test before application to play things safe..

All the best !

Hi..
There are 2 ways to claim points for English:
1. If u make an argument stating that u have completed ur edu in english - this argument may or may not be accepted by ur case officer.
2. An IELTS score of atleast 6 in each module will give u 20 points, an ielts score of 5 in each module gives u 15 points.
If you want to be sure of the points it is best to give IELTS.
Hope this helps..

Do we need to send the report officially through the ielts testing center or we need to send the original result report which we recieve after the test. or we can just put down the TRF in the forms?
