Please help....Info on appeals..
Hello.
I have just been turned down by the ACS. I had filed for a qualifying ASCO (2231-11) but they are claiming i do not have 6 years experience. I would like to appeal this because i believe that I do. I worked at a PC wholesaler for 3.5 years before taking an MCSE full time course for 6 months, then proceeded to work doing the same thing again until now. This should have provided me with over 6 yrs. Unfortunately, on my letter of reference, my former employer listed me as a hardware technician. Based on the letter that the ACS sent, they are only covering me from the time I got out of school, not before. The letter is rather vague, but I believe I could appeal this decision if i had more documentation stating that I was more than a hardware tech. I did a lot of networks as well as working with hardware. I am not sure though, has anybody had any experience with appeals?? Thanks for helping.. John X |
John,
If you believe you have enough evidence to prove, go ahead with the appeal. You can provide any additional information that you think as advantageous. I have done it and was successful. Good luck. Gihan. |
Re: Please help....Info on appeals..
You should probably hire an agent. Appealing may be an option, or
re-application. It's not possible to say without having a lot more information. Jeremy >On Thu, 02 Jan 2003 22:07:04 GMT, "John X" wrote: >Hello. >I have just been turned down by the ACS. try http://www.themara.com.au
There's no reason why you can't hire an Australian agent. Here are the websites of three who post here regularly: http://www.austimmigration.com http://www.gomatilda.com http://www.iscah.com Jeremy >On Fri, 03 Jan 2003 12:55:42 GMT, "John X" wrote: >i don't know of any agents here in ontario, how do i find one? >thanks This is not intended to be legal advice in any jurisdiction |
