hi all wondered if someone could help me i'm currently undertaking a nvq 2 hairdressing course and perming is a optional unit now. i don't want to do it as it's difficult to get models you have to do 3 different ones. you can do a day course in perming which i'd rather do but its only a certificate in perming not nvq. i've heard you have to have nvq to get into oz is this true if someone could let me no i would be most grateful cheers

Heard Perms are coming back in fashion.
Not sure if you need NVQ now we didn't as OH had done an apprenticeship and has been a hairdresser for about 17 years. But I think it may have change recently.
