Partner Visa submitted! Couple questions about uploading documents...
So it's taken 2 months of collating evidence and working through the online application, but finally I've submitted my 309/100 visa application
I had all of my evidence categorised based on how I'd read the uploading documents screen was laid out on the IMMI website - so have managed to quickly upload almost everything but had a couple remaining questions.

- I have applied for a UK police check. Once I receive this back in the form of a certificate, under which category should it be uploaded?
- I have already completed and uploaded a Form 80 under the 'Character, Evidence Of' category although I see it also appears as a category it its own right. Do I ALSO need to complete a Form 1221? (seems like duplicate of much of Form 80) and is it necessary to upload the Form 80 more than once?

1. Character, Evidence of.
2. Neither are necessary unless specifically requested by your case officer.

There is little point in doing police checks now as police and medicals are only valid for 12 months and you are likely to have to do them again. Wait until the CO requests them.
There was also not a lot of point in doing form 80 as it isn't always required.

Cool thanks both! I've already completed Form 80 anyway so have uploaded it along with the rest of my evidence.
Have also decided to just go ahead and arrange Police/Health checks based on hearing about a lot of people (when applying for this visa from the UK) being processed in well under a year - and also knowing that worst case scenario I just have to get them done again in a year if it really does end up taking that long.

Also you need to check current visa processing times. They vary a lot. People applying at different times can experience different processing times for the same visa.
