Partner visa - onshore application
Sorry - that should read offshore!!
Looking for some advice please. I am about to start my application for a Partner Visa (309/100) and am currently resident in the UK. My husband is resident in Queensland and at the moment we are both travelling back and forth between the two countries spending two to three months at a time in each. I have read on the DoHA website that the visa will not be granted if I am in Australia at the time - but what would the situation be if I happened to be in Australia when they were ready to make a decision? Will they let me know so that I can leave the country for a day or two? Surely they don't just flat out refuse to grant it?? |

Just check any bridging visa, whilst a different situation we ended up with a situation where my my partner was put on a bridging visa that did not allow any work and not allow her to leave the country
