Default Parent visas - what are the options

I am currently in Oz but have not been here long enough to gain citizenship. My parents want to move over but fail the balance of family means test. What visas could they apply for?

Look at http://www.immi.gov.au to see if any other options exist. If balance of family test is failed, it is not looking positive.

There are some other options that suit a small minority of parents, such as employer nomination, carer, aged dependent relative or remaining relative, but these are highly unusual.
