parent visa
Hi all, first time on here for me. Could anyone inform me of the waiting time for the Parent visa. My daughter has lived in Sydney for 3 years now and we were thinking of joining her, we have'nt applied yet, were mulling things over. Any other info would be a great help i.e. cost of living etc. By the way we have spent 6 wks there on holiday, in Sydney, so have a rough idea. Thanks for your help. Tommy

Welcome to the british ex pats
If you go to the All new sparkly contributory parent visa thread it will give lots of good advice and let you discuss things with people who are in the same boat as yourself.
Our visa took us a total of 1 year 2 months. All the best if you decide to go ahead with it any advice needed just drop us a line .
