Re: paperbased applications thread
I think online is slightly quicker, but it seems to go through phases. also depends on where you are applying from and what visa you are applying for.
Ours took 7 months, and it was a paperbased 175 MODL.
Good luck with it all, the waiting can get so frustrating at times :curse:

Hi
I know that for paperbased applicant, we cannot check our application status online- so how do we check our application status?
Can we frontload our med and police checks as well?
I paperlodged in Jun 08 under 176- am stated sponsored and occupation on CSL.
Thanks in advance for any replies

Have just sent TRA away ,and when I lodge my application thinking it would be easyer to just to post it away rather than having to up load it all and wondering if they received everything ok. I understand the e-lodgement is faster but by how much . I will be applying 175

Re: paperbased applications thread
I'm also paper based, however my advise to you is to do the online submission. It's better in a number of ways. first you can check your application status online, and it is being processed faster.
I know if anyone one told me about the benfits of online application I would have gone online.
