Does the introduction of the new CSL List and prioritizing it will further delay the paper based application. Mine is 175 paper based launched in july 08, so please help me in knowing when can I expect my Visa, kindly answer it, as I am already nervous about the new rules

Hello all!
Thought I would give you an update.
We lodged 17th Dec 2007 and finally got a CO only a couple of weeks ago! Meds done on the 16th of this month and have now sold subject to contract! Have heard on the same day as meds that the surveys are ok and perhaps we are on our way.
Please wish us well, this has been such a long journey!!
Happy Christmas to all and Good luck to all those that are seemingly waiting for longer than average. Lets hope it is all we want it to be :)

Cheers,
We done our skills assesment in Aug 07 (just before sept 1st changes) :p
Then we had to get all our paperwork together, friends and family witness statements (defacto) then lodged on 14th April o8 (paperbased), then we waited and waited and waited some more, then in Nov our agent called to say that a CO had looked at our file and required our meds and police checks. 19th Dec 08 agent called to say we had our visa granted

all in all from start to finish it's taken about 16 months
